Chef Kevin Lasko spent years working in some of New York City's most acclaimed kitchens, including Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Mercer Kitchen and Drew Neiporent's Montrachet. For the past ten years, he has been the Executive Chef of Park Avenue Seasons, a new-American restaurant located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. The restaurant is renowned for a menu and decor that changes with the seasons and its focus on impeccably prepared market-driven cuisine. Under Chef Lasko, Park Avenue won two stars from The New York Times, the title of Best New Restaurant from New York Magazine, and was named one of Forbes Magazine's Best Eateries in New York City for 2013.
Chef Lasko studied at the New England Culinary Institute and has long believed that Vermont, with its deep farm and dairy roots, stands at the important intersection of agriculture, cuisine and all things culinary. He has always been drawn to the Green Mountain state and will bring his in-depth knowledge of seasonal ingredients and expertly executed fine dining to your table with his culinary event company, Vermont Farms Catering.
After years working as a publicist at internationally recognized firm Bullfrog & Baum for some of the country's most well-known chefs like Alain Ducasse, Michael White and Michael Mina, Katie Stiles accepted a position working in-house for Fourth Wall Restaurants as the company's Public Relations & Marketing Director. It was at Fourth Wall that she met Kevin Lasko and together, the pair collaborated on a wide range of events, from creation to implementation and production.
With an inherent ability to translate ideas into reality, Katie works with guests to bring their events' vision to life. From working with newlyweds-to-be on a custom cocktail or signature beer to creating the perfect Vermont-themed welcome gifts for friends and family, Katie has the specialized knowledge and expertise that allows Vermont Farms Catering to help create lasting memories for our guests.
